I'm Tanner Hertzog, founder of Pillar Financial Group, an independent life insurance agency based in Phoenix, Arizona. I work with families across roughly 30 states to find coverage that actually fits their situation. Because I'm independent and appointed with a wide range of top-rated carriers, I can help with just about any need—term, whole life, universal life, mortgage protection, final expense, and more—rather than being tied to a single company or product. I'm a Phoenix native and ASU graduate (W.P. Carey School of Business). I came into insurance with a background in real estate, and what's kept me here is the straightforward nature of the work: understanding what a family is trying to protect and matching them to the right coverage without the runaround. Being independent means my recommendations are driven by what's best for the client, not by a quota. Outside of work, I'm a daily runner - usually with my Golden Retriever, Tilly, along for the miles -and I spend my free time lifting and staying active. I believe in showing up consistently, doing what I say I'll do, and treating people the way I'd want my own family treated.
